SKIN MATTERS Gentle Gel Cleanser is a Korean face wash formulated for Indian skin and weather. It is a gel in a 50 ml tube, with a pH of 5.5 and no sulfates, parabens, silicones or synthetic fragrance. It is suitable for all skin types and can be used morning and night.
Like any good Korean cleanser, it is made to clean without stripping. It removes the day's oil, sweat, sunscreen residue and pollution, while ceramide NP, panthenol, centella asiatica, rice extract and hyaluronic acid help your skin stay soft and comfortable after you rinse.
How to use
Morning and night · About 60 seconds
STEP 1
Wet
Wet your face with lukewarm water.
STEP 2
Massage
Massage on damp skin for 30 seconds.
STEP 3
Rinse
Rinse well with water.
STEP 4
Pat dry
Pat dry with a soft towel. Don’t rub.
For heavy or waterproof makeup, remove it with a cleansing oil or balm first.
A patch test before first use is advised.

Is this a Korean face wash?
It is a Korean-inspired face wash made in India. It follows the Korean approach to cleansing, which is gentle, low in pH and focused on the skin barrier, and it is formulated for Indian heat, sweat and pollution. It is not imported from Korea.
Can this face wash be used every day?
Yes. It is made for use every morning and night, all year. In very dry weather, follow quickly with a moisturiser.
Will it dry out my skin?
It is formulated not to. It is sulfate-free and sits at pH 5.5, with glycerin, panthenol and hyaluronic acid to help skin stay comfortable after rinsing. You should still follow with a moisturiser.
Is it suitable for oily and acne-prone skin?
Yes, as a gentle daily cleanser. It has no acne treatment active, so it works alongside whatever treatment your dermatologist advises and does not replace it.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It is formulated to be gentle: sulfate-free, pH 5.5 and with no synthetic fragrance. Skin that reacts easily can react to almost anything, so do a patch test before your first full use.
Does it remove sunscreen and makeup?
It removes everyday sunscreen residue, oil and dirt. For heavy or waterproof makeup, or water-resistant sunscreen, use a cleansing oil or balm first and this second.
Why does 50 ml cost ₹399?
