About the Product

It is a gel face wash with a pH of 5.5, made in India and built on a Korean skincare philosophy for Indian skin and climate. It cleans with mild, sulfate-free cleansing agents and contains ceramide NP, panthenol, centella asiatica extract, rice extract and hyaluronic acid. It comes in a 50 ml tube and is meant for use morning and night. The line on the pack sums it up: Mild. Thoughtful. Effective.

It is for anyone who wants a daily face wash that cleans without leaving skin tight or dry. The pack states it is suitable for all skin types and specifically shows normal, combination, oily and acne-prone skin. It is used the same way by all genders. If you are under 18, use it with a parent or guardian’s guidance.

The difference is in how skin feels after rinsing. Many cleansers leave skin tight, dry or “squeaky”, which usually means too much of the skin’s own oil has been removed. This one is sulfate-free, sits at pH 5.5 and is built around the skin barrier, the outer layer that holds moisture in. The aim is skin that feels soft, fresh and supple after washing.

It is a gel. It spreads easily on wet skin, rinses off with water and does not leave a film. It is designed to feel gentle and non-stripping, so skin should not feel tight once you pat it dry.

Dense foam usually comes from sulfates such as SLS and SLES, and this formula does not contain them. Less foam does not mean less cleaning. The mild cleansing agents still lift oil, sweat and dirt.

It comes in one size, a 50 ml tube. The tube is small enough for a gym bag, a hostel shelf or cabin luggage. There is no larger size at present.

It depends on how much you use and how often you wash. Someone who washes twice a day will finish a tube sooner than someone who uses it once a day. A small amount is enough for the whole face, so start small and add more only if you need it.

The MRP is ₹499, inclusive of all taxes. The current price on myskinmatters.in is ₹399. Shipping is free on every order in India.

It is made in India. It is manufactured by The Great Herbal at Plot No-296, Ecotech-3, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh-201306 (Mfg. Lic. No. UP16320000048/2024). It is marketed by KIEVORA Private Limited, First Floor, G-79, Ashok Vihar Phase-1 Road, New Delhi 110052.

Ingredients and Formula

The full list, as printed on the pack, is: Aqua, Panthenol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Betaine, Sodium PCA, Ceramide NP, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco-Glucoside, Decyl Glucoside, PEG-150 Distearate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Tocopherol. That is 19 ingredients. The same list is printed on every tube, so you can check it against what you receive. Each ingredient is explained here: Our Ingredients

Ceramide NP is included to strengthen the skin barrier and lock in moisture. Ceramides are fats that occur naturally in the outer layer of skin, where they help hold skin cells together. A cleanser’s first job is to clean, so think of the ceramide as part of what keeps this wash from feeling harsh. It does not replace a moisturiser.

Panthenol hydrates and soothes. It is also known as pro-vitamin B5, and it is a humectant, which means it attracts water to the skin. It is the second ingredient on the list after water. It is there to help skin feel comfortable after washing.

Centella asiatica extract calms irritation and redness. Centella is a leafy plant, often called cica, and it is one of the most widely used ingredients in Korean skincare. In this cleanser it is there to help skin feel calm after washing. It is a cosmetic ingredient, not a treatment for any skin condition.

Rice (Oryza Sativa) extract brightens, nourishes and improves skin texture, in the pack’s own words. Rice water has been used in East Asian skincare for generations. Here, “brightens” means skin that looks fresher and less dull after cleansing. It does not mean a change in your natural skin tone.

Hyaluronic acid helps prevent dryness. The form used here is sodium hyaluronate, a humectant that holds water. In a wash-off product it supports how hydrated skin feels right after rinsing. For hydration that lasts through the day, follow with a moisturiser.

pH 5.5 means the cleanser is mildly acidic, close to the natural pH of healthy skin. pH is a scale from 0 to 14 that shows how acidic or alkaline something is, with 7 as neutral. Skin’s surface is naturally slightly acidic, and bar soaps and harsher washes are often alkaline, which can leave skin feeling tight. A cleanser at pH 5.5 cleans while staying close to the skin’s own level. Read more: Why pH 5.5.

Yes, it is sulfate-free, which means it contains no SLS or SLES. It cleans with mild, amino-acid, betaine and glucoside-based cleansing agents: sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, cocamidopropyl betaine, coco-glucoside and decyl glucoside. These are surfactants, the ingredients that lift oil and dirt so water can rinse them away. Every face wash needs them to clean. Ours are chosen to be mild.

No synthetic fragrance is added, and the ingredient list contains no perfume, essential oils or drying alcohol. Phenoxyethanol, which appears on the list, is a preservative and not a drying alcohol.

Yes, it is paraben-free and silicone-free. The preservative is phenoxyethanol, which keeps a water-based product safe from microbial growth after the tube is opened. Tocopherol, a form of vitamin E, is also in the formula as an antioxidant.

Skin Types and Concerns

Yes, oily skin is one of the skin types shown on the pack. It removes excess oil, sweat and dirt without stripping the skin. Oily skin still needs its barrier intact, and a wash that leaves it tight and dry can make it feel uncomfortable. Use it morning and night.

Yes. The pack states it is suitable for all skin types, and the formula is sulfate-free and contains humectants such as glycerin, panthenol and sodium hyaluronate, which attract water. It is designed to cleanse without leaving skin tight. Dry skin should always follow a cleanser with a moisturiser while the face is still slightly damp.

Yes, combination skin is shown on the pack. Combination skin is oily in some areas, usually the forehead, nose and chin, and normal or dry in others. A mild gel cleanser at pH 5.5 cleans the oilier areas without being harsh on the drier ones. You do not need a separate wash for each zone.

It is formulated to be gentle: pH 5.5, sulfate-free, and no synthetic fragrance. Sensitive skin reacts differently from person to person, so we do not promise that it will suit everyone. Do a patch test before the first full use, and stop if you notice irritation. How to do it: Patch Test Guide

Yes, it is suitable for acne-prone skin and the pack shows it. It cleanses without stripping and has no synthetic fragrance. It is a cosmetic cleanser, so it contains no acne medication such as salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. It can be the gentle wash in a routine alongside whatever your dermatologist has advised.

No. It is a cosmetic face wash, not a medicine, and it does not treat, cure or prevent any skin condition. What it does is clean your skin gently and help it feel calm and hydrated after washing. For persistent acne or pigmentation, see a dermatologist.

Yes. Skin type matters, not gender, and the formula works the same way on everyone. If you have a beard, work the gel into the skin underneath and rinse well.

Yes, with a parent or guardian’s guidance if you are under 18. Do a patch test before the first full use. Orders on myskinmatters.in should be placed by an adult. It is not designed for babies or young children, and the tube should be kept out of their reach.

Ask your doctor before using it. We do not make a safety claim for pregnancy or breastfeeding. The full ingredient list is printed on the pack and on this site, so you can show it to your doctor.

Ask your dermatologist first. This is a cosmetic cleanser and has not been made to manage any skin condition. Take the ingredient list to your appointment, and if your doctor agrees, start with a patch test.

How to Use

Wet your face, apply the gel and massage it in, rinse well, then pat dry. Massage gently with your fingertips and avoid the eye area. Pat with a clean towel, do not rub. Follow with your moisturiser, and sunscreen in the morning.

Use it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. The morning wash removes the oil and sweat that build up overnight. The night wash removes the day’s sunscreen, sweat and pollution. If twice feels like too much for your skin, use it at night and rinse with plain water in the morning.

Use a small amount. Start with a little on wet hands, and add more only if it does not spread over your whole face. Using more than you need does not clean better. It only finishes the tube sooner.

It removes light, everyday makeup. Heavy, long-wear or waterproof makeup may need a second cleanse: use a makeup remover or a cleansing oil or balm first, then this cleanser. This two-step method is called double cleansing. Do not scrub harder to make one wash do the work of two.

Yes, as the night wash after a normal day of sunscreen. Water-resistant or heavily layered sunscreen may need a second cleanse, with an oil or balm cleanser first and this gel second. Massage it in properly and rinse well.

Yes, a patch test is recommended before the first full use. Apply a small amount to a small area, such as behind the ear or along the jawline, rinse, and check the spot at 24 and 48 hours. If there is no redness, itching or burning, go ahead and use it on your face. Full steps: Patch Test Guide

Yes, it can be the cleansing step in a routine that includes actives. The cleanser contains no exfoliating acids and no retinoids, so it does not add another active to your routine. Cleanse first, then apply your active as that product directs. If you use a prescription treatment, follow your dermatologist’s advice.

Apply a moisturiser, and sunscreen in the morning. If you use a toner or serum, it goes after cleansing and before moisturiser. Apply your next step soon after patting dry, while skin is still slightly damp. Full routine: How to Use

The pack directs morning and night use. An extra wash after heavy sweating is fine for many people because the formula is mild. If your skin starts to feel tight or dry, go back to twice a day and rinse with plain water in between.

It is made for the face. You can use it on your neck, chest or back, though a 50 ml tube will not last long that way. Do not use it to remove eye makeup, and avoid contact with the eyes. If it gets into your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with clean water.

Korean Skincare

It means a way of caring for skin, not a place of manufacture. Korean skincare puts gentle cleansing, hydration and a healthy skin barrier first, and avoids harsh, stripping products. We applied that approach to a cleanser: low pH, mild cleansing agents, and barrier-supporting and hydrating ingredients. Read more: Korean Philosophy for Indian Skin

Because the formula follows the Korean approach, and we say exactly that on the pack: “Korean Skincare Philosophy for Indian Skin & Climate”. We do not call it a Korean product or a made-in-Korea product. Making it in India lets us design it for Indian conditions and keep it affordable.

It means the cleanser is designed for the conditions most of us live in: heat, humidity, sweat, dust, pollution and daily sunscreen. In those conditions you need to wash your face twice a day, every day. A cleanser used that often has to clean properly without stripping the skin each time. That is what this formula is built to do.

Centella asiatica, rice extract, ceramide and hyaluronic acid are all widely used in Korean skincare. Centella is known for calming, rice extract for brightening, ceramide for barrier support and hyaluronic acid for hydration. Panthenol is common in Korean formulas too. The low-pH, non-stripping gel cleanser is itself a staple of Korean routines.

We make no claim about where individual ingredients are sourced. The product is formulated and manufactured in India. If sourcing matters to you, write to contact@myskinmatters.in and we will tell you what we can confirm.

It is the water-based cleanser. In double cleansing, an oil or balm cleanser goes first to dissolve sunscreen and makeup, and a water-based cleanser like this one goes second. In the morning, use it on its own as the first step. Toner, serum, moisturiser and sunscreen follow.

Safety and Authenticity

Check the details printed on the pack. A genuine tube reads “Marketed by KIEVORA Private Limited, New Delhi” and “Manufactured by The Great Herbal, Greater Noida”, with Mfg. Lic. No. UP16320000048/2024. It carries a batch number, the MRP of ₹499, a Use Before date and a net quantity of 50 ml. The ingredient list should match the one on this site. More: Authenticity

Buy it on myskinmatters.in, which is the brand’s own store. Listings on Flipkart, Amazon and Meesho are coming soon.

Stop using it and report it to us. Send photos of the tube, the box and your invoice, and tell us where you bought it. Write to contact@myskinmatters.in or use the form: Report a Fake Product. We will check the batch details and reply within 24 working hours.

See the Use Before date printed on the pack. Do not use the product after that date. Once opened, keep the cap closed. Best before 24 months from the date of manufacture. If the gel changes in colour, smell or texture, stop using it.

Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, with the cap closed. A bathroom shelf is fine. A window ledge or a parked car in summer is not. Keep it out of reach of children.

Stop using it and rinse your face with plain water. The pack says to discontinue use if irritation occurs. If the redness, itching or burning is strong or does not settle, see a doctor and take the tube with you. Then tell us at contact@myskinmatters.in, with your batch number if you have it.

There are four: for external use only, avoid contact with eyes, discontinue use if irritation occurs, and keep out of reach of children. A patch test is recommended before first use. If the gel gets into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. If it is swallowed, seek medical advice.
